This is a partial restoration of the original Stargate Resistance website's final version, assembled for demonstrational purposes. I have reconstructed it as best as I could with the materials available, but many pieces are still missing or non-functional.

Paul Marble
Staff Accountant

I am a Staff Accountant at FireSky.  I started working here in January of 2007 as a contractor and became a full-time employee that May.  I have been in the accounting field for over 10 years and have experience in both corporate and public accounting.

I’m originally from Snyder, Texas.  When I was 11 my family moved to Estes Park, Colorado which I consider my hometown.  I moved to Arizona shortly after I graduated High School and I have been here ever since.  I love music and I’ve been playing bass guitar professionally on and off in the Phoenix area since the early 90’s. I have had the opportunity to play & record with a large variety of local original and cover bands playing Rock, Blues, Classic R&B and Metal and have played hundreds of gigs locally and statewide.  In my spare time I like to go out and watch live local and national bands and hang out with friends.  I am a sports fan and enjoy watching Football, Basketball & MMA.  I also love to read.

I have really enjoyed my time here at Firesky and look forward to what the future holds.

I’m a pretty big game junkie. The first system I ever touched was the NES and it was pretty much over for me from then on. I’m the youngest of four siblings who are also addicted to video games so we spent endless hours and many nights running through Contra, Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Secret of Mana, and anything else we could get our hands on. I don’t think I could name any one game as my favorite since there are so many that I like, but I think Final Fantasy Tactics (not the GameBoy version) would come pretty close. I also enjoy watching movies. I can’t remember how old I was when I first saw Bram Stoker’s Dracula, probably too young but I thought it was awesome. With the rest of my free time I read fantasy novels and practice guitar.

So now for my boring info! I was born in Texas but we moved to Charleston, South Carolina when I was about five so I did all my growing up there. I went to college at University of Richmond in Virginia where I majored in Communication. After that I lived in Atlanta for a year where I spent time as an intern for 680 The Fan Sports radio, Chima Steakhouse (Yum), and Guerilla Tactics Marketing (GTM). When the opportunity to work in video games presented itself I was borderline crazy with excitement and ready to move out here to Arizona. I’ve loved every second of working here with great people and learning new things every day.

See you in game :D

Kathryn Dutchin
Producer

On a mission to make the world a more cheerful place…

Kathryn Dutchin is the Producer and occasional FX Artist for CME.

I grew up in the cold white north and like most of the team I have loved video games from a very early age. My brother Sean and I spent many cold afternoons beating Contra, over and over again (yay Konami Code!)

I spent four wonderful years studying Art and Psychology at Macalester College in Minneapolis. I dare say there are few other places you can mix rigorous academics with a bagpipe tradition and a guy who preferred living in a tree to his dorm room. An art major through and through, I was unable to contain my antics to the studio spaces and when inspiration struck I had no choice but to carry it out. Much to the amusement of my wonderful roommate, I spent an entire night painting a water color tree creature on our wall. I graduated wondering where exactly art and behavior mod might lead me?

After college I joined the corporate world; first going right brain as a tech support and then swinging back to the left putting together creative presentations. I worked at a company specializing in motivating and rewarding behaviors and the light bulb started going, now if only I could mash those bits together!

When the opportunity to join CME arose, my inner gamer could not resist. I’m one of those people who have a hard time deciding whether I am an artistic or technical person. It seems I am somewhere in between, and I gladly live there with a smile. I have had the opportunity to work on everything from tech docs to beautiful explosions to production. I love coming into work and finding out what the adventure of the day might be.

In my free time I enjoy “making stuff”, singing and of course playing games. See you online!
